Fewer than 15% of all carpet cleaning technicians in America are certified by the IICRC.  What does it mean to be certified by the IICRC?

IICRC stands for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification.  The IICRC is an independent, non-profit certification body founded in 1972 to establish and monitor educational programs and standards for the cleaning industry.  The organization sets and promotes standards and ethics.
